KES has been conducting environmental training seminars in Arizona and the southwest, both private and public, over the last thirty years. Our experience in training has been augmented by the environmental consulting and service projects the company has completed. Through our hands-on experience has improved our training programs by using the knowledge and experience gained over the last 30 years. We understand the unique requirements associated with dealing with environmental tasks on a day to day basis.

Currently Norm Weiss handles the design and implementation of the KES training programs. Due to his background and experience our programs are constantly monitored and updated to meet the requirements of regulatory rules and regulations as they change.

Norm Weiss has approximately thirty-plus years of professional experience. For over twelve years, Mr. Weiss worked as an environmental regulator with the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) and its predecessor agency. At ADEQ Mr. Weiss was an Assistant Agency Director responsible for directing statewide programs for solid waste, hazardous waste, emergency response, and toxic waste cleanup. Mr. Weiss also served as an ADEQ Assistant Agency Director responsible for planning and program development. Prior to opening his current practice, Mr. Weiss served as a Managing Senior for two national environmental consulting firms. Mr. Weiss’s primary areas of expertise are regulatory compliance services.
